NSC welcomes the setting up of a Space Special Interest Group by ADS in Northern Ireland. Michael Thompson, NSC General Manager, said ”Northern Ireland has a tremendous heritage in aerospace engineering from which to build economic stability. We should also be looking at how we utilise this capability to address new opportunities and the space sector is a natural extension”.
We look forward to working with Robert Hill, NISSIG Chairman, along with ADS and Invest NI to promote and develop this sector.
